yesterday i sat listening to a conversation between two sisters in their early 70s.
they were half talking to me.. one of them has hurt her hand and has it bandaged up.
anyway it started with one of them saying to me.
Not bitter. I hear you. I wish you had said those words and posted their reaction, but you are no doubt polite, and that would not have been polite to mention, how you had been lied to and led astray.
(((Hugs))) I hear you. I remember being 5 years old, and being told Armageddon is right around the corner. Mostly all the adults that said that are now dead.

the other day i was sitting in one of those meetings where the public talk was absolutely mind-dumbing.
by minute 5 i couldn't take it anymore paying further attention to what was being said, so my mind wandered.
i looked around to my own kh and started to notice something.
In the past 10 years, I have really only seen mostly JW children get baptized. A few much older people, who otherwise would have stayed at home, with no one to talk with.
We had one native who studied and got baptized. She could see the hypocracy in her native religion, but so far hasn't noticed? it yet in JW's.
I am embarrassed when I see what is sitting warming the seats at the KHall's and CA and DC. For the most part they are all basically good, honest sheep being led and controlled by WT/GB.
They are birds caught and put in a large cage and do not realize the door is open for them to leave... But the women don't want to lose their friends and social network and the men, I don't know, they don't want to lose their Boy's Club status? so they all for the most part stay. This so saddens me .
I have not seen one educated person fresh from the d2d work become a JW ever.

I worried about it in the beginning, but I would rather be out with 7 billion "normal" people, then "in" with 7 million WT/GB controlled drones.
But, I still am fading for personal reasons, otherwise I would strip off the bandage and state my real name.
I am EMBARRASSED I was ever a JW. I do not tell anyone in my new life I was one. Oh, so maybe when the time comes, I won't be stating my real name here.

I personally know an elder in Florida who got his PhD in the past 15 years.
I know an Elder in Calif. who got his MA degree too in the past 10 years.
Good for you Fader77 for going after your Masters degree and doing what makes you happy!
I know another sister who got her MA and is doing a research project for Harvard University and getting well paid for it.
WT/GB are bullies that some will listen to and strictly obey. But not everyone.

This letter is to the Body of Elders. This is NOT a letter to be read out at to all Brothers and Sisters, publishers.
They are to give any old 80 year old COBE the boot. He can graciously step down or they will give him until Sept 1, 2014.
WT/GB Mother has spoken.
I wonder what Jehovah and Jesus would have to say about this?
